“All I knew was that I wanted to study in Canada and needed to learn English.”

"When I arrived at Planeta Immiland Education, I knew I wanted to study in Canada, but I wasn't sure where to start. The only thing I knew was that I needed to learn English."

This was the starting point for one of our students. She discovered that, amid all her doubts, there was a “fairy godmother” willing to take charge of her journey and successfully guide her to her place of study in Canada.

That’s why today I want to share this true story, which will inspire you to reach your language goals with the guidance of an expert advisor in international studies. 

From Doubt to a Concrete Plan

Our language student had a clear destination in mind: Canada. What she couldn't find was the path that would give her the confidence to embark on this long journey. 

I was full of questions: 

• What program should I study?
• Which college was the right fit for his profile?
• Did I need to take the IELTS?
• How long would it take to reach the required level of English?

Upon receiving your concerns, we did the same: we followed our established procedure.

The Specific Plan

The first step was to schedule a language consultation with her. During the session, we assessed her English level and listened carefully to learn about her dream. That’s when we understood what her academic goals were.

She then continued with a personalized educational consultation with Angy Díaz, director of Immiland’s education department, who helped her develop a clear and organized plan for studying in Canada.

Achievements During the Consultation

During the session with Angy, our student made tremendous progress in terms of clarity. During that session, she was able to:

• Determine which academic program best suited their goals.
• Choose the partner college that offered that program.
• Understanding how the Pathway and the application deadlines.
• Plan each step of your process before you even leave.
• With that plan in place, he began his English language training with us.

After the session

Class after class, she developed the skills she needed to meet her institution’s language requirement. After successfully completing the course, she earned her English certificate, fulfilled the language requirement, and was able to continue with her admissions process.

He then submitted his application for a study permit, and once his visa was approved, he began a new chapter in his life in Canada.

Today, she is studying the program she always dreamed of, with the peace of mind that comes from having been guided through the process from day one.
