Getting into university in Canada is possible even without the language requirement, however, not all international students who want to apply know this and, when they do not demonstrate a level of English good enough to receive the Letter of Acceptance (LOA), they become frustrated, panic and lose confidence in their own academic abilities. 

To relieve you of this concern, I bring you a new article from our blog blog with a solution called Pathway, a program from Planeta Immiland Education that will allow you to improve your English skills while you work on getting your Letter of Acceptance from your Canadian university. Pathway Program leads them to the LOA

The Pathway is an academic agreement that exists between our language school for immigration purposes to Canada, Planeta Immilandand some universities and colleges. This agreement is given through an accelerated language learning program, which is designed so that students who need it can achieve proficiency in English for academic purposes, receive their LOA and enroll at the designated institution (DLI).

The LOA is the Letter of Acceptance issued by the Canadian university to the student when he/she is selected because he/she has fulfilled all the requirements. Admission is a very competitive process that, in addition, employs very strict selection criteria, the language is a fundamental one that the Canadian government takes very much into account, that is why not everyone gets in. When the IELTS or CELPIP scores are not enough and the LOA is not enough, the best thing to do is to go to the Pathway or agreement with the Canadian institution.

Important: Not all colleges and universities apply for the Pathway Program, so it is important to know if your institution accepts this program as a language requirement. See our agreements.

How does the Pathway Program work?

The Pathway Program is an intensive course focused on teaching and learning English in order to improve it and take it to the highest possible level, starting from intermediate to advanced, although much will depend on the student's own commitment. 

Here are three (3) advantages you will have with the Pathway program:

• They are going to improve the language for academic purposes and not just broad and general ones: the Pathway Program focuses on the student, the institution and the LOA.

• They will potentially increase the opportunity to receive the LOA without the language condition: this means they can move forward in their application process without worrying about meeting the language prerequisites.

• You will gain confidence in your academic abilities and good preparation: by completing the program, you will not only have improved your English, but you will also have gained confidence in your ability to study in Canada and will be ready for the next step.

Janet's dream 

 "Hello, my name is Janet and I want to tell you about my process. I had tried several times, but I was not getting the results I needed and this made me feel frustrated and worried. In addition, the costs of the tests and the repeated failed opportunities made me feel even more pressured and unmotivated.
