Once again it must be recognized: French is the key that unlocks the doors to Canada! The Ontario Provincial Nominee Program selected French-speaking skilled workers in a recent draw on September 5, 2024. The province issued 96 Notices of Interest (NOI) to candidates who achieved a CRS score between 290 and 393.
This article from Planet Immiland is dedicated to French speakers interested in applying for permanent residency in Canada through Express Entry. Today I will give you details about the requirements of this Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) lottery, whose candidates were selected for speaking French! as well as for their professional and employment experience.
If you are already a French speaker or are improving your French, this topic will motivate you to continue to improve your profile and/or study French for immigration purposes to Canada and obtain permanent residency in Ontario. Let's get started!

Express Entry French Program
Arriving to Canada by Express Entry is a very good option because you can choose between two categories, the general one and the one that in Planeta Immiland we call "VIP" or for speaking French. As I detailed above, achieving a level of French CLB 7 and intermediate English plus having a higher education degree (usually a university diploma) and at least one year of work experience will give you the "VIP" category and get permanent residency without ever having been in Canada!Ā
I share with you the link of our French courses from zero to the CLB 7 level required by the Express Entry and its categories for French speakers, here you will know the methodology, what you will learn for immigration purposes and our prices.
