🎯Course competencies:
The program is designed to develop comprehensive skills in the four areas of language. The main objective is to reach the CLB 5 (B1-Intermediate) level. CLB 5 (B1-Intermediate).
1. Written Expression (Production Écrite)
- Description and Narration: Ability to describe personal situations and recount past events using the present, past perfect, and imperfect tenses.
- Social Interaction: Writing emails to respond to personal or professional messages (accept, decline, or propose).
- Argumentation: Ability to write short argumentative articles or essays (120-150 words) using logical connectors.
2. Oral Expression (Production Orale)
- Personal Presentation: Being able to talk about yourself, your environment, family, and the job market.
- Interaction and Consultation: Ability to obtain information and ask relevant questions in formal and informal contexts.
- Persuasion: The ability to argue simply in order to convince someone.
3. Comprehension (Oral and Written)
- Information Identification: Locate keywords and essential information in public announcements, images, and short administrative documents.
- Logical Analysis: Understanding the structure of a text, speakers' intentions (feelings), and data in graphs.
4. Transversal Language Skills
- Grammar: Mastery of narrative tenses, the future tense, the conditional tense, interrogative forms, and past participle agreement.
- Vocabulary: Specialized vocabulary related to travel, employment, services, social life, and leisure.
