Camosun College
It is a public college located in Victoria, in the province of British Columbia, Canada. It was founded in 1971 and has two main campuses (Lansdowne and Interurban), has a very inclusive approach: it welcomes international students from more than 80 countries and also gives space to local indigenous communities.

General requirements
For most programs
- International applicants must have a high school diploma (or its equivalent) to apply to many programs.
- In some cases, there may be specific requirements depending on the program: certain diplomas require specific prerequisite courses (mathematics, science, etc.).
- According to Camosun's admissions policy, all international applicants must be at least 19 years old at the beginning of the first academic term (unless special admission is considered).
Language requirements
Demonstrate English proficiency through various tests or options:

IELTS (Academic): 6.0 overall (with some minimum bands depending on program)

TOEFL iBT: Approximately 78 for many programs.

PTE Academic: 54 points for many programs.

CAEL (Canadian Academic English Language): 60 for many programs.
Cambridge (C1 Advanced), for example, score 174 for some programs. -
Duolingo English Test (DET): 105 for diploma/certificate programs; for some post-degree programs the requirement goes up.

Pathway (ESL): Camosun also accepts ESL pathway partner certificates recognized by Camosun.
In addition, Camosun offers its own English Language Development (ELD) program (e.g. ELD 092/094 or ELD 097) which, when completed to a good level, can fulfill the entrance requirement for some academic programs.
