  1. Identifying accessories: "J'ai..." (I have...)

Use this phrase to point out key elements of your look or decoration:

  • J'ai un masque de démon. (Ye un mask duh démon) - I have a demon mask.
  • J'ai un chapeau de sorcière. (Ye un sha-pó duh sor-siehr) - I have a witch's hat.
  • J'ai une citrouille! (Ye un si-trui!) - I have a pumpkin!
  • J'ai un chat noir! (Ye un sha nuahr!) - I have a black cat!
  1. Conversation about sweets: "J'adore..." (I love...)
  • J'adore les bonbons. (Yador leh bon-bon) - I love sweets.
  • J'adore le chocolat! (Yador leh sho-co-lá!) - I love chocolate!

 

Common trick-or-treating phrases

These phrases are the ones you use once you interact with your neighbors at the gates. They are very simple, in fact they are in the level débutant.

These common questions may arise:

  1. Qui êtes-vous? (Ki et vu?) - Who are you? This question is to find out who is behind the disguise, so you will need to activate listening to understand it.
  2. C'est joli! (Se yo-lí) - How cute! In this case, you will hear it if they refer to the costume.
